We’ve finally made it into some of our fun anime styled listicles!
Our last listicle was The Most Powerful Dragon Ball Characters Ranked and we’re even slowly approaching The Most Powerful Anime Characters of All Time!
If you guys have been paying attention to the characters we’ve been pumping out workouts for you’ve probably noticed most have them have been pretty stacked in power.
This time we’re actually jumping back in and I should make a couple points clear to start us off:
- We’re going to be basing this list entirely off of Ranker’s Best Anime Series Ranks.
- This is NOT the most watched series by numbers but rather the rankings based on votes to Ranker’s chart.
- I WILL however share the most watched as a bonus at the very end before signing off.
- I will be using a main character workout image to show off the show as a whole, but naming the show for the sake of the list itself.
And now that we have that cleared up I feel much better about being able to move freely through this list.
Although, spoiler alert, I am upset to announce that Dragon Ball Z is actually NOT on the list.
I know, yikes…
But we have a ton of other awesome shows coming to the list and I’m really glad that we have a character featured here at SHJ for every single show besides one!
I do love every single one of these shows, so it does make sense, but I suppose we’re going to have to get the main character of the one we’re missing ASAP…
Our Anime Workouts Database is feeling pretty good right now.
No more spoilers though…let’s get into it!
TOP 10 MOST POPULAR ANIME OF ALL TIME
Number Ten: Tokyo Ghoul
Ken Kaneke is the newest member to hit SHJ on this list, actually just being added yesterday!
I had prepped this list and noticed that not only is Ken Kaneke a good one to [obviously] represent Tokyo Ghoul, but he also has a shot at being one of our members for the upcoming Most Powerful Anime Characters of All Time list as well.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number ten slot!
You can check out Ken Kaneke Inspired Workout here.
Number Nine: Assassination Classroom
I’m sad to say that this one is the only anime on our list we don’t [yet] have a workout for.
I chose Korosensei to represent it for obvious reasons, which gives me an amazing excuse to prioritize a workout inspired off his character as soon as possible!
I wouldn’t be surprised if he was in the running for one of the most powerful as well…
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number nine slot!
You can check out Korosensei Workout here.
Number Eight: The Seven Deadly Sins
We’ve slowly been growing out our Seven Deadly Sins character members here at SHJ.
We started with our Meliodas Workout and have since added on our Ban Workout, Escanor Workout and even Mael Workout to join him.
These give us a wide variety of not only physiques, but also in turn training styles for you guys to choose from.
I think my personal favorite is Escanor’s routine, but I’ll let you be the judge.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number eight slot!
You can check out Meliodas Workout here.
Number Seven: Attack On Titan
I am a HUGE Attack on Titan fan, which makes the next sentence a little weird.
For a long time we only had Mikasa Ackerman’s Workout featured here at SHJ, prior to recently adding both Levi Ackerman’s Workout and Eren Yeager’s Workout to the site.
It’s almost like I finally woke up and realized I need to give AOT a lot more love!
All of these workouts add a ton of flair to their specific abilities, which happen to be really unique, so I’m really excited that this one made the list.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number seven slot!
You can check out the Eren Yeager Inspired Workout here.
Number Six: One Piece
I have probably only seen a little over seventy episodes of One Piece.
I loved the episodes I watched, but I also have SO MANY anime shows to catch up on, I just couldn’t make the full commitment.
BUT, just because I haven’t seen them all doesn’t mean we don’t have some awesome routines.
We have both our Luffy Workout AND our Zoro Workout that you can utilize.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number six slot!
You can check out the Luffy Inspired Workout here.
Number Five: My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is currently my favorite anime show.
The hero vs. villain dynamic in the show combined with the training brings me DBZ and Marvel/DC vibes all rolled up into a world that’s so much just MHA’s own.
That being said, we have had A TON of My Hero Academia Inspired Workout Routines.
To the point where they’re almost competing with our DBZ Workouts that have their own section in our Workout Database!
Any way you swing it you’re coming away with an AWESOME routine from our MHA characters.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number five slot!
You can check out the Deku Inspired Workout here.
Number Four: One Punch Man
Can anyone say overpowered for me five times fast?
One Punch Man, AKA Saitama is EXTREMELY strong, and his workout routine is actually true to what he tells us within the show.
With the large majority of these workouts we’re actually using the characters powers, abilities and overall aesthetic to build a routine, but Saitama tells us exactly what we need to know.
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number four slot!
You can check out the One Punch Man Workout here.
Number Three: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
I just FINALLY started watching FMA and I’m immediately a huge fan.
It took me a long time, but it’s better late than never, right?
With that we also just got our Edward Elric Workout a few weeks ago, just in time to have him coming in towards the very top of this list!
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number three slot!
You can check out the Edward Elric Workout here.
Number Two: Hunter x Hunter
We just saw our Master Roshi of Hunter x Hunter here at SHJ.
And I feel it’s okay for me to make that comparison considering I already told you guys I’m a huge DBZ guy…
We started off with our Gon Workout and Killua Workout, but if you didn’t know who I was talking about (if you’re a Hunter x Hunter and DBZ fan I’m sure you did) we also just recently got our Isaac Netero Workout as well!
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number two slot!
You can check out the Gon Workout here.
Number One: Naruto: Shippuden
Did you guys see this one coming?
I personally thought Naruto would definitely make the top ten, but didn’t think it would come in at number one!
We have seen a good handful of Naruto characters, even enough to have our Top Ten Naruto Inspired Workout Routine list for you guys as well.
That being said, I’m curious where you stand. Is this accurate in your opinion? What’s missing, if any anime?
Ranker voters brought this one in at the number one slot!
You can check out the Naruto Inspired Workout here.
That’s a wrap on our list taken from votes right from Ranker.
BUT, as promised I do want to give you a list of the MOST WATCHED Anime of all time as well.
These are taken straight from a list based on viewership and popularity:
- Pokemon
- (We’ve seen our Machamp Workout, Ash Cosplay Workout, Misty Cosplay Workout and Brock Cosplay Workout)

How many of these have you watched!?
