Hero Killer: Stain didn’t make the list of The Most Powerful Anime Characters of All Time, but he does help us get one step closer to something….!
Similar to how we have our mini workout database for Dragon Ball Z Inspired Workouts, well we are just about at enough MHA characters to have one for all our favorite My Hero Academia characters as well!
We’ve had lists like Top Ten My Hero Academia Characters, and of course you can go through The Anime Workouts Database, but having their own little section really helps people find all the hidden workouts in there!
Plus, people loved the idea of getting some more MHA villains on the site!
All For One was obviously the strongest we’ve seen, but it’s fun to take a look at different characters with different abilities, and Stain is definitely one that is super unique.
Hero Killer: Stain Stats:
Real Name: Chizome Akaguro
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: My Hero Academia
Powers: Yes
There is no height and weight for Stain like we’ve seen for other My Hero Academia characters, but we can guess!
Based on some research and analysis around he internet it’s guesstimated he comes in around 6’5+!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Hero Killer: Stain Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Hero Killer: Stain Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
Hero Killer: Stain is extremely strong, and he’s a great addition to the My Hero Academia character inspired workouts we’ve seen thus far.
To start us off I want to pull directly from his Wiki Fandom page which tells us this about the Hero Killer:
Chizome Akaguro, also known as Hero Killer: Stain and formerly the vigilante Stendhal, is a villain and ex-vigilante that is notorious for having killed many Pro Heroes. He is the primary antagonist in the titular Vs. Hero Killer Arc. Chizome was under lock up in Tartarus, but after All For One’s attack on the prison, his current status is unknown.
His Wiki page goes on to tell us a TON of information about his abilities, but I’m going to cut it down a bit and pick and choose some of the background information they give before moving into his actual breakdown:
Overall Abilities: Stain is an extremely powerful villain who has claimed more lives than any other since All Might’s debut. Stain’s aptitude allowed him to murder 17 known Pro Heroes, and cripple 24 others to the point of being unable to make a full recovery. Stain has displayed creativity and mastery over his fighting style. He is able to deal with close and long-ranged opponents through a mix of misdirection, aggression, prediction, and use of the environment. His battle prowess allows him to overwhelm his targets in armed combat and compensate for his Quirk’s restrictive activation cost.
While in Hosu City, Stain attempted to kill the Pro Hero Native, and was faced with Tenya Ida, and was able to incapacitate the new Ingenium, mostly due to the U.A. student being vengeance-driven over the Hero Killer crippling Tensei, Tenya’s older brother. Stain almost killed Tenya, had it not been for the timely arrival of Izuku Midoriya, who was searching for Tenya. Even though Izuku’s new abilities took Stain by surprise, the ex-vigilante was still able to blindside him with his Quirk, Bloodcurdle, but, seeing Izuku as a true hero, decided not to kill the latter. After Stain paralyzed Izuku, he attempted to kill Tenya and Native again, but his crusade was once again interrupted due to the additional appearance of Shoto Todoroki. Stain found it more difficult to handle Shoto compared to Izuku, Tenya, and Native, mostly due to the heterochromatic using the interchangeability of his fire and ice powers. This drawn-out confrontation caused the effects of Bloodcurdle to wear off for Izuku, giving the One For All inheritor a chance to join the fight, resulting in Izuku and Shoto tag-teaming to oppose the Hero Killer. Tenya also found himself free from his paralysis, and with him jumping into the fray as well, having purged himself of his desire for revenge, Stain found himself grossly outnumbered, 3-to-1, and nearly overpowered.
And outside of his Quirk, which I’ll share more information about below, they also list these for his powers:
- Immense Speed: Stain’s most notable ability is his unmatched speed. He is able to evade Tenya’s high-speed kick when they first clashed, as well as partially block Tenya’s Recipro Burst during the ensuing battle, and Tenya is revered as U.A.’s fastest student. Shoto Todoroki was unable to land a single strike on Stain, even using both fire and ice attacks, due to the Hero Killer’s formidable reaction time. Shoto mentioned that Stain is so fast that he could not even consider running away as an option. Despite Stain’s incredible speed, however, he was unable to evade the combined, high-speed assault from Tenya’s Recipro Extend, and Izuku’s Full Cowl that was used in tandem with a 5% Detroit Smash, though Shoto claims this was partly because he was getting desperate knowing several pros would be arriving on the scene.
- Enhanced Strength: Stain has a considerable amount strength, as it was enough to cleanly slice through many of Shoto’s ice attacks.
- Immense Stamina: Stain has a high pain threshold, as shown when he takes a direct blow from Izuku’s 5% Detroit Smash to the head and remained mostly unfazed. After battling against the trio of U.A. Students and killing the Winged Nomu, it was revealed that Stain’s lungs were perforated by his broken ribs, but was able to remain standing even after falling unconscious.
So it’s safe to say we’re going to be training around those in particular for this one!
Here’s more information about his Quirk, Bloodcurdle:
Bloodcurdle: Chizome’s Quirk allows him to paralyze his target upon tasting a sample of their blood.
The amount of time a victim remains paralyzed depends on their blood type; in ascending order from shortest to longest duration, they are: O, A, AB, and B. The maximum amount of time anyone can be paralyzed is eight minutes. Bloodcurdle seems to work with the blood type personality theory.
With all this in mind it’s pretty obvious that Stain is both an extremely powerful AND well rounded character.
He has a ton of tricks and tools up his sleeve and can clearly hang with the best of them.
For this one, as I said above, we’re going to be focusing in on training for strength, speed and stamina.
It’s going to require a ton of volume to achieve these while also remembering we need to remain and lean and agile as Stain, so get ready for a ton of volume.
