We saw a calisthenics inspired workout for Yuji Itadori recently and you guys loved it, so we’re back for another fan favorite: Satoru Gojo.
We do have over a dozen workouts within our Jujutsu Kaisen Inspired Workouts, but Yuji and Satoru are definitely the most downloaded.
Gojo actually came in at number one on both our Jujutsu Kaisen lists covering the most popular Jujutsu Kaisen characters, and [even though it’s pretty obvious] the most powerful Jujutsu Kaisen characters.
But in our last Gojo inspired workout we train with weights after breaking down his powers and abilities and researching his overall character.
This time around we’re going in knowing that we’ll be training with calisthenics.
Which will also make it fun for our members who only train using their bodyweight if they get Gojo on our Jujutsu Kaisen Workout Placement Quiz.
Satoru Gojo Stats:
Real Name: Satoru Gojo
Height: 6’3
Weight: N/A
Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen
Powers: Yes
Gojo is actually quite tall.
Our male anime characters tend to be on the shorter side, but Gojo stands in an above average range, only being shorter than the handful of behemoths we have in on Anime Workouts Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Satoru Gojo Calisthenics Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Satoru Gojo Calisthenics Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
Even though we’ve already taken a deeper look into Gojo for our original Satoru Gojo Inspired Workout, we’re going to be pulling from his Wiki Fandom page again to learn more about how we’ll be building this routine around calisthenics and bodyweight training.
Here’s how they lead us off:
Satoru Gojo is one of the main protagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a special grade jujutsu sorcerer and a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu High.
From there we can move on to talk about Gojo’s powers and abilities.
His Fandom actually leads us off with information about his overall skill level, which will be helpful to get an idea of just who we’re dealing with:
Overall Skill Level: Even among the special grade sorcerers, Satoru is known to be the strongest sorcerer in the series, holding both immense amounts of cursed energy and a dangerously powerful technique.
As a student, Satoru and Suguru were both considered “the strongest”, capable of making short work of experienced and powerful curse users. After realizing and perfecting his capabilities, Satoru’s abilities vastly increased to where he was able to put Toji Fushiguro into the defensive and ultimately kill him with his strongest technique, whereas before he and Geto were no match for the renowned Sorcerer Killer. As he continued to grow, he eclipsed Suguru’s might to where Suguru admitted Satoru has truly become the strongest alone. Suguru also stated that Satoru had the capability of killing all of humanity by himself, which Suguru admitted was out of his own ability, and didn’t even try to fight back when Satoru prepared to kill him, although Satoru ultimately relented as he was unable to kill his former friend.
In the present, Satoru’s might was feared by the higher-ups of the jujutsu society, to where Satoru could easily force them to cancel the executions of the likes of the dangerous fellow special-grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu and the vessel of Sukuna Yuji Itadori and he states that it would be easy for him to kill them all and overthrow the jujutsu society had he actually wanted to. Satoru even claimed that he could defeat Sukuna at his full power.
We’ve actually seen a few of the characters mentioned here within our Jujutsu Kaisen Workout Database already.
Both Toji Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu and Sukuna are all some of the most requested characters.
Of course, not as requested as Gojo, though – which is fitting.
From there they go on to list these as his powers and abilities (which I’ll break down a bit more):
- Immense Strength
- Immense Speed & Reflexes
- Tactical Intellect
- Master Hand to Hand Combatant
Being that his speed and strength are the two things we’ll focus on the most, here’s what they give us for those:
Immense Strength: Satoru possesses tremendous physical strength to fight against powerful curses without a problem, easily causing severe injuries to Jogo with powerful punches and throwing him a considerable distance with a single kick during their fight. He was also able to easily rip out Jogo’s head and later on his arm with sheer physical force and even managed to casually rip out Hanami’s roots. He could casually rip apart transfigured humans, tearing them apart limb-by-limb.
Immense Speed & Reflexes: Satoru is an extremely fast fighter, capable of moving faster than the eye could perceive. He managed to easily outpace Jogo, throwing almost imperceptible punches and kicks. Satoru can also eliminate a thousand transfigured humans in five minutes.
We know we have to train around insane strength and speed but we’ll be doing so with the use of calisthenics and circuit training.
Being that we’re talking about one of the most powerful characters we’ve come across we’re going to be using high intensity calisthenics training in the form of tri-sets, supersets and circuits that can all be scaled down by simply doing each movement on their own (don’t complete it as a circuit/tri-set/superset – instead do it as a single set and then rest).
